The FEIN number will now be read-only to ensure compliance in tax filings. It'll will no longer be editable through the white-label or API once the employer onboarding form has been submitted. In case of a change in the FEIN after submission, the partner will need to create a Zendesk Support ticket for Zeal.

When adding a new company through the white-label, a partner will be provided with an option to indicate whether the new company will need a payroll migration or not.

We have deprecated the use_bank_verification selection and will make it automatically required for all companies created with a Production Key.

We have renamed the Live Key to Production Key. The API key used to create a company will determine the Production or Test status of a company. In order to run payroll, the company needs to be created using a Production Key. Learn more about API keys here.

We have added a Job Queue Webhook that developers can sign up for along with other web hooks. This webhook will monitor any status changes to the specified job and respond with the job_type (which endpoint this job is for), status, company_id and job_id. It will work for any endpoint that utilizes the job queue structure.

Partners and Employers are now able to select all states they are registered in on the Tax Setup Page. States have certain reporting requirements whether a registered business has active employees and work locations or not. By providing state registration information we can ensure Partners and Employers are not penalized for missed filings.

Partners will now be able to select their Federal Income Tax deposit cadence from the Tax Setup page.

We now support multiple same-day contractor payments with the capability to add metadata/notes to the payment.

We now support the semi-monthly payment cadence for Autopilot checks.
